So happy to have found this cosy but modern house. While small the layout was great with separate areas for relaxing, a well stocked kitchen and two comfortable bedrooms. Everything seemed new and fresh. The porches were so nice for sitting and relaxing but it was a bit too cold when we were there to really enjoy so we missed out on that The neighborhood was nice and quiet with lovely views of the lake.

My cousin and I stayed at this home to see her daughter at school. The house was immaculate and surprisingly spacious. I wish the weather was warmer because the porches were begging for a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine. Beds were very comfortable and water pressure in shower was great. Kitchen was well stocked for making a meal.

This property was spotless and beautifully decorated. The outdoor space was relaxing and peaceful. My two teenage sons and i stayed for a long weekend to take inn a Sewanee Football game. We had plenty of room and the boys loved it as much as I did. We hope to stay again!

It’s always great to see your college student and have the ability to cook them a home cooked meal and do their laundry. This house affords both and it’s why we will be back again. Not to mention the lovely setting to sit on the porch and enjoy the weather.

Very spacious and well thought out. The outside areas were beautiful with a lovely view of the lake. The house had everything you could possibly need and more. We will be back.

Everything was clean and the listening was accurate. This is a large upscale tiny home community. Quite and peaceful.

Everything was great! The remote for the fan in the living room was missing, but luckily, it was not an issue. The floor fan in the loft helped keep the temperature comfortable.

The Sunset Wonder was a perfect stay for my coworkers and I. We got to have a staff night away and chose this beautiful little place right off the lake. It even had a private little dock for the surrounding area of tiny homes. Very spacious and cozy for all to enjoy. Our favorite part was the outdoor porch with a long table and chairs, a giant swing, and a little fire pit just steps away. This was our second year choosing a place at The Retreat and we plan to be back in the fall. We enjoyed every moment, thank you!

We had a great time and love the attention to detail the owners put into Sunset Wonder. Beautifully decorated with all the kitchen supplies you need to enjoy the kitchen if you like that. So relaxing and enjoyed a short hike to Foster Falls nearby.

Sunset Wonder was a perfect tiny home. It is decorated beautifully. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The porch is large and we made well use of it, as well as the fire pit. We enjoy kayaking and fishing. Unfortunately, the water level was extremely low making it almost impossible to launch. We managed but sunk in a lot of mud getting to the water. This has nothing to do with the tiny home. Next time, we will probably check. From what we heard, it was very unusual. We still had a great time!! We will be back.

My 4-night stay with my mom was amazing!! This tiny retreat was just as pictured and described online. It was well-stocked with a multitude of practical supplies. We were truly impressed with the peaceful, friendly and respectful atmosphere throughout the entire retreat community. Also, the customer service and helpful local tips were truly appreciated. We highly recommend escaping to Sunset Wonder!!

This “tiny” home was absolutely stunning and had everything we could possibly think of needing. The views and amenities at Water’s Edge were more than we could have imagined as well. It was a great place for a quiet get-away for the my wife and I, but it would also be wonderful for a family trip as well. We also explored the surrounding area and really enjoyed the local restaurants and views. We will definitely be back in the future.

This spot is beautiful. We stayed for a 3 day Caverns Concert and booked a shuttle to takes us back and forth. The place is beautiful and had all the amenities we wanted and needed. We will be staying here for every Caverns concert moving forward. Thank you!

We loved our brief stay at the Retreat. It was exactly as described and pictured and our kids loved being so close to the playground and dock. We will be back again!

We had a little trouble getting into the house but we called the number for the Retreat at Water's Edge. They were very helpful and resolved the problem quickly. It would have been helpful to know about how to rent kayaks before arriving, if you call the Retreat at Water's Edge office they are very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely tiny home. We hope to come back and stay again.

Sunset Wonder is a great place on the lake to get away and relax! The house is cozy and warm with many amenities and modern decor. The best part of our days was sitting on the porch reading and watching the geese descend on the tranquil water. We will definitely return in the future!

This place is even better than it looks. The Retreat development is amazing, super cute and charming. This unit has an amazing view of the lake and the sunset. The quality of the place was excellent, very well curated and taken care of! Perhaps my favorite part was the outdoor space which includes a screened in dining table and large deck with chairs, a swing, etc. If you are seeing a show at the Caverns or just wanting to spend some time in the area, try this place … you won’t be disappointed.

We stayed 3 nights at Sunset Wonder with our four boys (aged 3-9). While this is a tiny home we did not feel cramped at all. The decor is perfect. The layout was great with kids loving the loft space. The boy especially loved how close we were to the community dock and playground. The kitchen was well stocked to prepare just about any dish. We had a great time and highly recommend this unit.

Came to town for a weekend Cavern show. The house was great. Clean, well-equipped with great location. Went hiking on the Fiery Gizzard Trail and saw BlackBerry Smoke in the Caverns. Great weekend.

Sunset Wonder was so beautiful! Our family loved the spacious home that had everything we wanted and needed for our get away. We spent most of our time outside on the spacious deck. The furniture was high end and very comfortable. We loved the view of the lake especially from the fire pit Our stay was so relaxing. You will love it.

This stay was better than we could have imagined. We were worried about enough room to park our 30ft trailer. We had plenty of room. Everything was clean and all details and directions were clear!! Six of us stayed here for my son's graduation weekend at Sewanee. I cannot believe how comfortable our stay was, given that we had a full house. It lives large. Everything we could possibly need was available in the kitchen -- pots, pans, dishes, spices, etc ect. The table on the screened porch accommodated us nicely for evening meals. In the mornings we got up early and watched red-headed woodpeckers, red-winged blackbirds, house finches, geese, songbirds. My sons fished down at the lake and caught bluegill. All of this a short 15 minute drive from campus. We will definitely come back for weekend getaways. Thank you!

Great house for a big family. Very close to playground and a beautiful dock. Highly recommend. Only complaint was check out was early and wish it would have been 11 or 12.

We were so happy with this adorable cabin! The community is really cute, and this cabin was well laid out, well stocked, nicely decorated, clean, and had a nice water view. If you're looking for a little weekend getaway, this is a great spot. There's all kinds of great hiking in the area, and just sitting on the porch here is really nice. We are already thinking of visiting again.

The tin roof provided one of the best nights sleep I think I have ever had with the sound of the rain quietly pouring down … now I want one on my own home! The view of the lake was so peaceful and calm and was just what we were looking for even with the rain. And all the small touches made it a perfect stay … we’ll definitely be back!

We have stayed at a couple diffenent homes in Water's Edge. This home is by far the best! It is decorated so cute and has everything you need for a perfect weekend. The house is stocked with the nicest kitchen applianes and the home owner thought of all the small stuff like a block for charging your cell phone! Beds were comfortable. Views are gorgeous and there was plenty of firewood. We will stay here again and very soon!

Wow what a beautiful tiny home that didn’t feel tiny at all! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook. Very clean and spacious for our family of 6. Great view of the lake and we will be back! The only downfall was we couldn’t get ahold of anyone for about an hour when we got there, I never received the check in email so we didn’t know where to go. But other than that our stay was lovely & we did not want to leave!

They could not have improved this place with 5 more attempts. It was perfect! The outside was so beautiful, both in the deck area and the view. Much thought and care went into the inside. Sitting in the woods with a wonderful view of the lake is hard to beat. It's the GREAT ESCAPE!
