We loved our stay at The Dolly House! Even through the 6ish hour power outage due to a storm. (If the power goes out during your stay, flip the breaker and the washing machine will work again.) The view, amenities, and decor are stunning. Peaceful, quiet atmosphere. Rent the kayaks. Buy the additional s’mores kit. Great family vacation memories made for this family of four with young adult children.

If you’re a Dolly Parton fan this is your place. We were in town for an event and the Dolly tiny home was next door to the home family had rented. Far enough away to feel private, close enough to be a short walk.

We stayed one night and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities of the hot tub, fire pit and porch swing. The lake view was amazing, outdoor string lighting was a nice added touch. The house was clean and inviting. Loved all of Dolly memorabilia. Very tastefully done and too many extra features to mention. The bbq tools, beach towels, laundry detergent, hair dryer, cutting board, etc. It was obvious the owner wanted their guests to feel right at home. Very responsive host as well. Appreciated the early check in feature for a small extra fee. My partner and I would definitely consider returning again.

This was our first time staying in a tiny home. There was plenty of room for my wife and myself. The home was very clean and the views from the back yard were awesome. We would definitely recommend this home. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your tiny home.

Enjoyed our short getaway. The community area is tranquil. We felt safe, enjoyed walks around the neighborhood, birding and fun times at multiple concerts over the weekend nearby at The Caverns. The dolly house was cute, clean and stocked with plenty of supplies. The front and back porch seating areas and dolly memorabilia are a nice and fun touch to the place. The lakeside hot tub was so nice! With the cool autumn air after a long hike in nearby parks a hot soak in a jacuzzi was perfect. Great way to relax by the water!

Just what our family needed ! A break from the norm , we hiked , we fished, we laughed , enjoyed the hot tub , smores, campfire , had the best time . The Dolly house was exceptional! I admit I was skeptical with a family of 6,turns out it was perfect ! See you next year !!!

The Retreat at Water’s Edge was stunning. Very beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The Dolly House was a delight. We had 4 adults (no couples) and found the beds to be just okay. The inside seating was limited which we sort of knew from the listing pictures however we hung out outside often. Overall we had a nice time and liked that we could rent canoes and explore the lake.

Beautiful, peaceful location. The Dollyhouse was so adorable and decorated so cute! We loved everything from the fire pit with pink chairs to be decorative Dolly touches. Will definitely be back!

Loved the Dolly House. Kids had a great time in the hot tub and we caught tons of fish standing on the shoreline in the backyard. One note is it is a charcoal grill so be prepared for that. There was some leftover charcoal but just enough for one cooking.

My family and I came from Logan County Ky to enjoy a relaxing getaway. The Retreat was the perfect place. We stayed at the Dollyhouse. From the fishing right outside our back door, to the coziness of the tiny home , it was the perfect vacation. We would recommend the Retreat as a quiet and peaceful escape from fast paced life. We enjoyed s’mores by the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub, kayaking, and fishing several times a day. Awesome adventure!

This was the perfect spot for my friends and I! There were 5 of us and plenty of space. Super clean and the outside was so cute and serene! Love!

We had an awesome stay. The Airbnb has the cutest set up and it was right on the lake. The hot tub was a super nice touch! We look forward to coming again in the summer and exploring more! Thank you for the awesome stay!

Clean, beautiful, wonderfully appointed, two full bathrooms, comfy beds, many windows, amazing surroundings, awesome (and private!) hot tub, great outdoor furniture - it's an amazing place. 10 out of 5 stars!!

The Dolly house was just what we were looking for. My daughter is a huge Dolly fan, so all the pink & Dolly touches were perfect. The house was cozy & had plenty of room for all our guests. The hot tub & landing area overlook the lake. The lighting around the fire pit area made it a great place for the girls to hang out. We had a great weekend!

Dolly House was perfect for a little weekend getaway! Only a 20min drive to a concert at the Caverns. House was very clean & had all the amenities we needed. We even got to enjoy the lake & hot tub with the beautiful weather. Would definitely recommend & will book this place again when we go back to the Caverns.

Only stayed one night, unfortunately! Great spot, new, well designed clean cabin. It was perfectly designed inside and out. Very much enjoyed our stay, than you!!

We had the best stay the Dolly House! Having the instruction notebook with activity suggestions was so nice! We loved having the extra bathroom. The Dolly decorations were all so fun the look at and read through. The porch swing was our favorite morning coffee spot. We could not have asked for better weather while we visited which just enhanced the amazing view! We enjoyed all of the amenities. The whole community was beautiful! We will definitely be back!

Great clean place to stay if visiting Sewanee, or a nice little weekend getaway. Ideal if you have small bags for travel. It is however, a little tight if you have multiple people staying there. All very comfortable beds. Will definitely stay out there again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was cute with beautiful surroundings right on the water. We had one small issue and immediately the host had maintenance out to repair it. Would love to stay here again sometime.

Wonderful place and a great view!

We loved our at the Dolly House! The outdoor living space is AMAZING! This place has everything you need and the setting is so relaxing and beautiful. We made made a fire in the fire pit and enjoyed the crisp evening outside. Definitely pick up wood for the fire pit before you get to the house. Wonderful to have a Tiny House w 2 bathrooms too!

What a treat it was to stay in The Dolly House! My butterfly loving mother-in-law LOVED her 70th birthday surprise trip there! We will be back for sure.

Fantastic stay! Our whole family loved it and definitely plan to go back. Easy to get to Chattanooga to do all the things we wanted to do. And, we love the Dolly theme!

Lakeside property with gorgeous views. The neighborhood is still under construction but we didn't hear any construction noise. The lot is spacious, as is the house. For it to be a tiny house, it didn't seem so tiny for our family. Cozy and well appointed with everything we needed to cook meals. There wasn't any laundry detergent so bring your own if you plan on doing laundry. We look forward to visiting this area again.

Unique stay in a secluded, quiet tiny home. Dolly decor is great. Enjoyed finding all of the Dolly decor and touches around the unit.

My family and I truly enjoyed this little property. The house was adorable, and the fire pit and sun deck were extremely nice touches. My kids loved fishing and kayaking on the lake. My only wish was that the lake perimeter was trimmed of weeds to make it a little easier to access the lake but that’s literally my only suggestion. There’s many beautiful hikes in the area, and my family and I truly enjoyed our time there. We will definitely be back.

A dear friend and I spent a weekend at the Dolly House & it was just exactly what we both needed to rest and relax. With a well-prepared kitchen we were able to prepare simple to complex meals. We spent the majority of our evenings on the roomy screened in porch, but also built a fire on our second night and relaxed with wine and snacks by the fire pit. Kayak rentals were easy and we enjoyed spending hours floating and paddling on the lake. The beds were comfy and we slept soundly. Every detail was thought of at the Dolly House & we'll be certain to return.

The Dolly House was perfect. Right on the lake where my kids spent their entire mini get away. The house was accommodating to our needs. The screen in porch was perfect for my mother and aunt. And I spent my time either on the sundeck or on the swings. Thank you so much for building such a beautiful tiny home and sharing it with us.

We needed a quick getaway for a few days, and The Dolly House was the perfect spot! My kids were really excited about the house, and everything was themed so well!! The house had everything you would need, and the fire pit by the water was very relaxing! The highlight for the kids was being able to fish and kayak. We would definitely come back to the Retreat and would choose a lakeside house for sure!
