We came in for a one-night stay for a concert in The Caverns. It was clean and neat. Plenty of games and things if we were in need of anything do. It was less than a 15-minute drive to The Caverns. We would definitely stay again.

Everything we needed for a short, two day trip. Great space, quiet tiny-house community in a gated, private area. Had a private trail that led to a great waterfall and swimming hole. Only bummer was a “burn ban” so we couldn’t build a fire, which was kinda the desire of the trip, … to be in the woods around campfire in March. Would still book again.

We had a fantastic stay at Mountain Top Mini Home! The cabin is located in a charming small community just a few minutes from town, offering the perfect balance of convenience and seclusion. Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful, quickly answering any questions we had. The tiny house was well-equipped with everything we needed, making our stay both comfortable and stress-free. We loved spending time around the fire pit, unwinding, and enjoying the peaceful outdoor setting. Plus, the area is great for hiking, with plenty of trails to explore. If you’re looking for a cozy, relaxing getaway surrounded by nature, this is definitely the place to be! We can’t wait to come back.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The hosts responded to any messages very quickly and with accurate information. Hiking to Deer Lick Falls on the property is an absolute must if you stay here!

We had no issues finding the property. Conveniently located near Tracy city, Monteagle, and Sewanee. It was an easy drive to the concert at Caverns at Pelham. Also close to multiple hiking opportunities, including well known Fiery Gizzard trail. We were out and about most of the time. But the cabin community was quiet and peaceful. It would be a great place to relax and unwind. Plenty of room in the cabin for our three adult group. Be sure to visit the Mountain Goat market for lunch.

Our only hiccup was the directions that were sent from AirB&B (not the ones sent by the owner). Owner was very responsive. Highly recommend a stay here :)

We booked a quick weekend getaway before the kids head back to school. Such a beautiful little place to enjoy some time with family and nature. We did some hiking, played some games, grilled, made smores, and enjoyed every minute!!This place has everything you need and the community is safe and secure. Can’t wait to go back!

The one complaint I have is the gate code they gave us didn’t work and we had to walk past the gate. We were getting dropped off but if we had a car this would’ve been a major issue

These tiny homes were so cute and convenient! A little challenging to find the unit at first, but really great communication and instructions, including a very helpful community map. It was clean and well laid out with very effective use of the space. We didn’t love the master bed or pillows comfort, but everything else was lovely and we enjoyed our stay! We would definitely book with them again.

We enjoyed our stay at this home in the Deer Lick Retreat area. We loved the peaceful surroundings and the home fit just what we needed. Highly recommend the hike to the waterfall though it is tricky and challenging. We will definitely be back!

The Mountain Top Mini Home is small but just what we needed for a weekend getaway. All the amenities of a larger house are available and easily accessible. It rained the whole time we were there, but the house was cozy, dry, and warm. The house was clean, and all the furniture was comfortable. The setting is very nice, with lots of trees, in a well-kept community of vacation homes. 5*****

Really cool tiny home and community. Not sure we realized that’s what we had reserved but it was a pleasant surprise. We stayed here after a concert at the Caverns and was only about 10 mins away. Plenty of sleeping arrangements as well!

This is our 2nd time staying in this beautiful community. 1st time at the mountain top mini home. It was perfect for my family of 3! Very cozy and had everything we needed. The fire pit is right outside the back and has enough room for friends! I would definitely come back here again!

What a sweet getaway for my family of 4 this holiday weekend! The house was perfect and just what we needed! We loved our time on the porch,in the house, adventuring around the property and surrounding areas. We, 4 adults, had plenty of room and throughly enjoyed having time away in the “woods”.it really almost felt like luxurious camping with all the extra amenities like the fire pit and hammocks! The mountaintop mini home was so peaceful and perfect. It had everything we needed…. Extra blankets, games, kitchen was stocked well. Our family of 5 really enjoyed spending time around the fire pit, laying in the hammock, and building forts around the back wooded area. The location of the home was perfect for access to hiking trails and playground for kids. We went to “town” one morning to explore Seeanee and find a coffee shop. Must do- go check out the college and nearby stores, so cute! This home was a peaceful retreat for our family! We will definitely be back soon.

This “tiny” house is very roomy. It is well designed and in a gorgeous setting. We enjoyed hiking and attended a concert at the caverns. It was a fabulous stay!

The community was beautiful and the tiny home was even better. If you love the outdoors this is the place for you. While visiting we went to barefoot zipping which is 7 minutes up the road and they have multiple other activities to do as well other than zip lining. There are amazing hiking trails as well as places to swim and enjoy your time. I definitely recommend checking out the Nashville zoo as well which is an hour and a half away but it is huge and well worth the time as it will take up most of your day. The tiny home itself was very clean and well put together. It was great to come back to an environment like that to finish a perfect day. Watch tv, make a fire outside with s’mores and relax. Would definitely visit again!

The entire mini home community is adorable. It’s out in the woods but gated and clean. The trail to the falls is beautiful. We had limited cell service but the WiFi was very quick. Layout and cleanliness were amazing! We really enjoyed our stay.

We just had the most amazing night at The Retreat! We stayed here one night and went to a great concert at The Caverns! The place is adorable. It’s beautifully decorated and has everything you need! We’ve already booked out next trip in November!!!

The "TINY" home gave us a BIG experience. It was so much more in all the ways than our expectations. We had plenty of room. Amenities were spot on and furnishings were so welcoming. The outdoors/common areas were well managed. Also, very secure and safe surroundings. Perfect getaway for a couple, small group of couples and families to gather. We loved it so much that we decided to book for the same time again next year.....but I can bet you some of us will be back before.

Cute little Small House in a interesting new "Small House" development. Ours had plenty of room and a cool lofted space that was nice and warm at night. Really neat fireplace too and the outdoor fire pit was amazing!

Mini home away from home !

We had so much fun on our short trip to Retreat at Deer Lick Falls. In two short days we took in 4 epic waterfalls, not the least of which was Deer Lick Falls which is accessible right from the property (but is a difficult hike, fyi). SO impressed by the common areas, trails and location for Retreat. The tiny house itself was a perfect place to crash after a long day outside. Very comfortable with full kitchen, grill, lovely outdoor space, washer/dryer, etc. Or kids loved the bunk beds and loft area. We will definitely be coming back again!

I was here on business and every time I stay at the Retreat it does not disappoint. Mountain Top Mini Home was nice to stay in. Quiet, cozy, and like a said a mini home away from home. I enjoyed it

Very nice get-away, my wife and I came here for our Valentine’s Day weekend, it was definitely giving us the calm subtle vibe along with a glass of wine and a movie after our dinner date. We are already planning another trip around summer after this fog clears up!

You cannot go wrong staying here! I needed a peaceful get away and it was just that!! Very clean. A few of my highlights- the amazing trails, hammock, fire pit, and peace!!! I will definitely be back... very soon!! I cannot think of one negative thing. All the mattresses were very comfortable ( even bunkers) Thank you for the wonderful stay!!

Great spot for a quick weekend getaway (from Nashville or Chattanooga). Perfect for two people or a family of up to four. I think it would be tight for 6 people, but maybe in mild weather it could work well. The house was nice and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Bring an ice tray or ice.

Retreats lack of information about where hiking trails start and what they led too. We missed seeing some of the scenery because we didn't know where to find the trail. Price of the stay should have included "Owners Fee" and not a surprise when confirming the payment.

This Tiny home was perfect for my boyfriend and I. Very clean and cozy! The scenery and privacy was perfect. It was so nice to get out of town for a few days and relax especially during these current times. We took advantage of the grill and cooked every night. The trails on site were awesome. We went to the little water fall and enjoyed a pretty challenging hike. This place is a must and an easy drive from Nashville. We will definitely consider renting this place again.

We have stayed in this development before. It is quiet, clean and has access to outdoor activities. We enjoyed the pavilion and hiking trails that are on site. It is a short drive to Sewanee.

This place is a hidden gem!!!! Our tiny home was cozy and well, just perfect! The host and other workers on the property were pleasant and friendly. Response time was very efficient and helpful, just a phone call away.... Unfortunately our a.c. messed up our last night here but Lacey was right there to get someone sent out to us the same night and had it fixed up quickly!! The trails are well worn and beautiful! Quiet and peaceful with the convenience of anything you need within a thirty min radius!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay AND WILL BE BACK!!

We had a blast in the tiny home. The whole community is gorgeous and well laid out. The trail down the waterfall was well marked and was an easy quick hike. Our 4 year old did great on the trail while our 2 year old only needed assistance on the steep parts going down to the falls. The home itself was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. We are already talking about our next trip.

What a wonderful and peaceful experience. This Tiny home is full of charm. Lots of light, nice queen size beds that are so comfy! Lovely covered patio and lots of storage. It’s bare bones house. I have stayed at other properties at the Retreat 4-5 times and this one is by far the worst. Bedding is thin and scratchy with no extra blankets, pillows or anything. No hairdryer. No extra touches to make the space more comfortable to guests. Other properties are so much better. Won’t stay here again.

We absolutely loved our time in this tiny house! It was an amazing overnight adventure for a family of five. We have small children ages eight, five, and three And truly enjoyed this family time. The perimeter hiking trail was outstanding and all three kiddos safely were able to play in the creeks and streams. We caught and released craw daddies and salamanders. A little boy’s heaven! The tiny home was plenty spacious and the backyard was flat and great for kids to play while we relaxed on the deck. The playground is also close and our boys enjoyed riding their bikes around the small community fire pit area. I would highly recommend this quaint home and adventure for your family or even a couple just wanting to escape from it all. Thank you for an amazing day! The grounds would make for an amazing couples retreat and romantic weekend as well! Thank you for letting us stay in your tiny home!

The staff at The Retreat was soo helpful & welcoming! The trails were awesome & the waterfall views were absolutely breathtaking. The cabins were perfect for our group!

A very relaxing and quiet way to spend a few days. There are several really good restaurants within 20 minutes. There is a chain grocery store and drugstore also within 15 minutes. There are a couple of unique shops for shopping and the nearby college is beautiful. The tiny house offers all the comforts of home in a compressed space.

A great place to get away to! You’ll enjoy the quiet location and quick walk down to the waterfalls. Go ahead and book this place!

Great place to stay! Especially for a romantic getaway. I left my necklace in the bathroom, left a VM and got a call back within 5 minutes. They then immediately mailed it back to me. Such great hospitality.

We loved our weekend away at this tiny home! We loved the farmhouse feel, the location, and the little community. The home felt very spacious and inviting and we could hardly tell we were in a tiny home all weekend! Our family of four got along just fine. We will be back!

This was an amazing stay. This tiny home was roomie yet extremely cozy. It rained some on our stay which had us cuddled up inside with the wonderful colorful views. The near by waterfall was moderately easy to hike to and after the rain had amazing views. The Tony home had comfortable beds and everything you would need for a home away from home.

The Retreat offered a relaxed and stylish space to unwind and enjoy time together with my partner. The house was cozy and clean, and despite its compact size, it had full-sized appliances and a full-sized shower. The space didn’t feel cramped at all. It was really fun to stay in a tiny house for the first time. Neighboring units were closer than I’d hoped, but it didn’t impact our stay. We would stay there again!

Incredible stay! This home seemed brand new it was so clean. Had one mechanical issue the second night of our stay, contacted the host late at night when the issue was discovered and we immediately got a response and a repairman out there, despite the time of night. I can’t say enough about how fantastic this place is... everything from the location to the amenities to the decor was fantastic. Will stay again.
