Everything was great WiFi was down often and tvs couldn’t connect to Wi-Fi

Excellent stay. Only improvement we would suggest is adding a K-cup feature to the coffee pot.

The property itself is very peaceful. You can enjoy the lake view while watching wildlife including a pair of large red headed woodpeckers that have a nest right outside on the right of driveway high in that dead tree. The bed is comfortable (very important to us) plenty of linens and the convenience of a washing and dryer . Upstairs loft looks like it would be ok for smaller kids but an adult can not stand up in it . It a bit too expensive for a small space. If they removed the cleaning fee it would be more reasonable. Bathroom door won’t close all the way and needs so work. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

From the beginning of the booking process to check out, everything went smoothly. Great communication, answering any question I had, easy to follow directions. Edgewater home was perfect from the time we stepped inside….clean, well stocked and so comfortable. Nice lake view and easy walk to the water. We would and probably will be staying here again. I would give this house and the entire tiny home village 10 stars, if possible. Highly recommend!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Retreat at Water’s Edge! We wanted a last minute getaway and booked the trip a few hours before check in time. The photos matched the home exactly, the home is very clean, had everything we needed and more! The host was very responsive & nice! The view here is beautiful. Very peaceful. Great for families or for a couple wanting some relaxation time. We cannot wait to book again, very soon!! We will recommend this little slice of Heaven to everyone we know! (Although selfishly I’d love to keep it to my self lol!!)

After a full day of hiking, we spent the night at Edgewater. Perfect size for two, and nice quiet location for a fire and a glass of wine. Overall the development had great rustic feel with all the amenities we wanted.

We stayed in this wonderful little home for Father’s Day weekend and it was just what we were hoping for! The screened in porch was relaxing to sit out in while we watched it rain and the playground was just outside the house which we loved since we have two kiddos. Our girls could run around in the public space and playground while we enjoyed chats on the back porch and view of the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals! We enjoyed mountain biking in Sewannee and hiking nearby as well! We will be back and next time we will bring the paddle boards!

Stay was amazing

This house is perfect. Lake front. Huge deck. Very spacious yet secluded . Comes with everything you need to cook. Although bring charcoal grill is not propane. Only complaint is there were no trash bags left . And faucet in bathroom has no pressure & little water. Small fixes but everything else was amazing .

Needed a place to stay for a friend’s wedding weekend - just right ! And the Sam Werner Military Museum down the road was a wonderful Saturday morning !

This place is a small slice of Heaven. Beautiful Lakeside view. The home was clean and had everything we needed. Host was quick to respond to any questions that we had. Would highly recommend this 5 Star place!!!

Beautiful place for a family vacation and peaceful

This tiny home had everything we needed and more. The grounds are stunning. The playground next door is close enough the kids could go play with us sitting on the porch but also far enough away that when other kids were playing on it we couldn't hear them. We would love to come back.

The location of the home is perfect. We have a 4 year old as well as older kids so being my the playground and the lake was great. We will be back!

It was such a lovely stay at the Edgewater. I loved my stay here so much. The house was the perfect size for me and I loved all the outdoor seating.

We went for a family reunion and each family rented a house. We loved our time there and this house is great if you have little ones because it is next to the playground. The only thing this house needed was more porch chairs but we packed our rockers. Will definitely come again!

This was our second vacation to Waters Edge and we enjoyed our time there. Edgewater has a great view of the lake and a quiet area to sit out on the deck or fire pit and relax. If you have children, there is a playground next door and a dock area that you’ll enjoy. Overall Retreat Vacations has been great and easy to work with for scheduling our trips there.

The experience me and my fiancé had was fantastic for a simple weekend trip to relax. Everything was clean and organized and had a great time with the communal activities. Would love to return for another occasion!

Unique community, clean & relaxing environment, great fire pit. Hanks was a fantastic place for food and beer. Fire wood is cheap at the Save A Lot local grocery store. I will be back.

We had a short stay and were out hiking most of the time. I wish we could have used the place more. Everything was perfect and very comfortable.

My family were able to spend peaceful time with Retreat’s place. There was a clean building and enough amenities. The house was very quiet and relaxing, surrounded by nature and the lake. We would like to visit again.

Perfect for our family! The area is beautiful. Everything was clean and cute! Location was good. Worth a visit!

We have visited this property twice. This property is very clean. We enjoy sitting on the dock overlooking the lake which is right behind the property. The screened in porch is awesome in the evenings to feel a breeze and listen to the lake life. The property is close to the Caverns for music venues and some very good restaurants. Papa Ron's Italian Steakhouse is a must go to!!!! The only regret is... both times we have visited the Retreat we've only stayed one night. Next time we hope to book for a longer stay.

Clean, cozy, and looks as lovely as the pictures you see. The utensils, dishes, and cookware are all there. you might want to bring your own knife if you cook a lot in the cabin. They have knives but not the sharpest ones. They have dish soap good enough for 2 nights but do not have a scrub so bring them for proper dishwashing. Foils, wraps, and oils are also your duty. Bring about everything you need for cooking. If you use chopsticks, bring them as well. Other nearby cabins seemed to have firewood stacked near the firepit but not ours. But there are woods in the ground and ask Retreat if you could get some from the stack. Their customer service is top-notch and will answer you as soon as they could on DM. Feel free to ask them anything anytime. if you are visiting as a party of more than two, you might be bothered by only having two chairs on the kitchen island when having proper dining so be aware of it. Other than that it was genuinely a great experience. Thank you, Retreat.

Place was beautiful and peaceful and perfect location. Unfortunately extremely difficult to find and we’re missing instructions to get there. Also for the high price and photos we expected firewood for the fire pit. It was only home in the area that did not have. We would have chosen one of the other Airbnb in that community had we known. Overall beautiful spot and very clean and modern! Just needed a few more details seen to.

We had a family time at Waters-edge tiny houses for fall break.My daughter’s family had a tiny houses too. The weather was beautiful and leaves were fall colors. Great place to hike enjoyed bonfires at night. Very relaxing.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! quick getaway with me husband and our two young boys! It was so peaceful and just what we were looking for. The loft was PERFECT for our two boys - truly a loft that you had to duck to get to beds but my four year old could stand up. All the amenities and exactly as described. Took a short hike near by. Highly recommend and we will be back!

The house is beautiful with an amazing view! We had to leave early due to a family emergency, and they were very accommodating. We will definitely be returning.

My friend and I spent the weekend at Edgewater at The Water's Edge to celebrate our birthdays and loved the tiny home. The deck overlooking the lake was by far our favorite spot and we spent quite a bit of time talking, watching the sunsets, and enjoying the beautiful scenery. I will be back!

We had a great time during our stay. Lots of hiking nearby and our kids enjoyed fishing everyday. The view from the property was absolutely beautiful!

The lake is beautiful. There is a lot of construction going on but it does not start until 8am so the nights are quiet.
