Cozy Oaks at The Retreat at Deer Lick Falls II

The Good: I was traveling solo and this place was pretty perfect for just me. First and foremost, this place is very cute and styled nicely. Had everything you need to cook a meal, a nice grill, and a clean hot tub to relax in. Two wonderful hammocks for chilling under the trees, a BBQ for grilling, and a fire pit for nighttime enjoyment. The property management team is also wonderful and very helpful. I had a lockout issue upon arrival and it was resolved in 15 minutes. What needs improvement: 1. No window blinds in bunk beds, up stairs loft, or master bedroom upper window. Not only was it super bright, but the neighboring properties could see right in where you are sleeping. I ended up using all the throw pillows to block the windows in bunk beds area and a make shift curtain from a blanket in master bedroom. 2. No laundry soap provided. 3. Internet access had issues and multiple resets of modem did not help. Could not watch TV or stream reliably due to dropped packets / huge latency issues (I’m an IT guy and reported to management company) 4. Master bed is too firm for my liking but bed firmness is so specific to each individual so others may prefer what is did not I do recommend this place overall, but do hope for the property management to look into the suggestions I have documented

We stayed in Deer Lick Falls. Our stay was wonderful! The tiny home was super clean! It had everything and more that we needed! The hot tub and fire pit was very relaxing after a day of hiking and biking. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals! We will definitely be back! If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!

We loved our stay here! They were very accommodating and it was extremely clean! 10/10!

My partner, his daughter, our Boston Terrier and I spent a long weekend at Cozy Oaks and we hated to leave. We had plenty of room and really loved the house. The 13 year old loved sleeping in the loft. We cooked a number of meals and had everything we needed. The hot tub was great and we were pleasantly surprised by the water pressure and HOT water in the shower. We also loved the cozy blankets on the couch and bed. Look forward to returning!

Fue excelente, al inicio nuestra cabaña por la cual reservamos inicialmente tenía algunas fallas pequeñas, como que el jacuzzi no funcionaba y la fogata a gas tampoco estaba funcionando. Infome los hechos y de inmediatamente me transfirieron a una cabaña mejor donde todos estos servicios estaban a la perfección. Buena experiencia

Our stay at Retreat was fantastic. The location was beautiful and peaceful perfect for what we were looking for our family of 4. The cabin itself was charming, clean, and well-stocked with kitchen essentials. The host was responsive and made check-in a breeze. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing mountain escape.

Everything was lovely. Bring your own coffee as I had a hard time finding a decent cup nearby. Hot tub was a bonus!

I had a great two-night stay in the Cozy Oaks tiny home in the Deer Lick Falls. The accommodation was perfect. 5 stars!

Adorable place to stay. Really enjoyed our time there. Bed was comfortable - kitchen was stocked for what we needed. Hot tub was great. No problems - coded door was a plus - being able to skip any kind of check in process was amazing.

Nice place for a weekend trip

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Oaks house. The kids loved the loft and enjoyed having their own space. We coordinated with two other families who also stayed at Deer Lick II and everyone enjoyed the close atmosphere. We visited Deer Lick to hike down to the waterfall and Water's Edge to canoe and kayak. We loved having so many activity options. We will be back!

Just under an hour and a half outside of Nashville, peaceful and perfect for a staycation. Trails were within community were nice and also only being 10 mins from the north trail head of fiery gizzard. It was beautiful. Ideal little place, homey and well kept. Enjoyed the outdoor space and got to take advantage of having a fire, laying in hammock, and the hot tub. Definitely would recommend and stay again.

We had only one night at the Cozy Oak, but we enjoyed it thoroughly! The hot tub was great after a day of driving. We didn't get to have a fire in the firepit, because it rained but the outdoor space was well planned out. The home had everything you need and was comfortable for the 3 of us staying. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing stay!
