We stayed over Thanksgiving with 3 kids. So much fun and we were able to walk to the playground. I want to live in a tiny house now.

The tiny home was very comfortable with plenty of sleeping arrangements. Perfect for a peaceful getaway.

This is the third property I have stayed in at the retreat at waters edge. It was peaceful and lovely as always! This property is more minimalist with decor than the others I’ve stayed in. The best part about it was the screened in porch and that it’s set off the road and fairly private. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset on the porch and overall had a lovely time.

We absolutely loved our little tiny home that was nestled in the woods. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the firepit as well. It was such a relaxing getaway!! We definitely want to come back and maybe even try another lovely home!!

We enjoyed our stay… the accommodations were clean and peaceful. The host was prompt in communicating and answering any questions that we had. The neighborhood was lovely and beautiful to walk around. We will certainly return with our family for a fun weekend. Thank you!

Overall the tiny house was a nice place to stay. Kitchen was stocked ok, house was clean. Kids enjoyed the loft and the screened in porch was nice. Please check with items listed in description before booking. The description listed a Nintendo upstairs, unfortunately that was not present. Not a huge deal except if you have kids looking forward to it as a treat. Also, please note that even though the map of waters edge shows there is a pool- there is not one. The property was quiet while we were there as not many homes had renters. The rental company was responsive to our needs and questions. The Dutch Maid Bakery, Goat Market, and Rosie's Farmhouse Grill were all good places to eat.

The home and the area were great ! Would love to stay again when we have more than one night !

This cozy cabin was a great place to get away. We enjoyed reading on the screen porch and the quiet of the neighborhood. The neighbor homes were a little closer than expected, and this home was a little further from the lake than the pictures depicted, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Took the family for our son’s 13th bday and we had a blast! Such a nice little getaway and fun to walk around the little community. We stayed at the Deer Lick Falls retreat last time and enjoyed it as well. We will definitely be back!

Lakeview Oasis was a very nice home with a wonderful view of the lake. This place had a cute fire pit area & porches to enjoy the view of the lake & a place to dine outdoors. The inside was perfect. Super neat & clean with very nice amenities. Such a cute place & the area has a lot to offer. Would definitely stay here again.

Lakeview Oasis is just as the name describes. This tiny home is charming and comfortable. I highly recommend it for anyone who seeks a quiet getaway.

This is an amazing space right across from the water. It is exactly as pictured, and we really liked the closet space in the main bedroom to keep our suitcases out of the way.

We loved this house. The fire pit was great and we had plenty of room for our girls weekend. Great place we for sure will be coming again.

Very cute and clean and set up nicely. We positively loved the numerous windows and patio seating!! The little loft was a dream (as long as you dont need to stand up;) Our only problems were that it was difficult to see the house number in front, as it was partly covered up. We also couldn't see to get back in the house after dark. All the outside lights were off, but they came on later and shone in the windows while we were in bed. There were no blinds on several windows. Thanks so much! We will return.

We love this hidden gem! It’s a wonderful spot for a relaxing stay. The area is beautiful and peaceful. There’s great hiking trails nearby with beautiful falls that are great for the whole family. We’ll definitely be back!

I brought me 2 boys, nephew and niece. Just the right size for all of us. Cozy cabin with great hiking right around the corner. Just a heads up, the loft bedroom stays very warm. We turned the heat down to accommodate, but the downstairs crew got cold and the loft crew was sweating. Bring a small box fan or something to help circulate the air. All in all, we had a wonderful stay with the cabin being just what we needed. Loved the hiking.

It’s a beautiful tiny home in a lovely area. I definitely recommend it when it’s normal pricing rates. I didn’t realize just how overpriced our place was until after or we probably would have stayed somewhere different for this trip and tried this place out another time. It worked out fine, but definitely wouldn’t pay the 150% price increase again. Watch the prices and choose a weekend it’s under $200/night. That being said, it’s a great location close to lots of hiking and the caverns which is why we stayed and would do so again for the right price.

We truly enjoyed all that the retreat had to offer. The tiny home was perfect and had everything we needed! The playground and lake are close enough to walk to. We plan to visit again!

Beautiful location with lots to do on property and in the surrounding area. This is our second trip to this Retreat location and it won’t be our last.

Great for a weekend getaway with the family and friends. The fire pit area was great for doing s’mores with the kids and the loft was a great play area for the kids.

We enjoyed our short stay at Lakeview Oasis! It had everything we needed. Would love to have had a chance to enjoy the lovely screen porch and fire fit, but unfortunately it was rather stormy during our stay. However, we were very comfortable inside. This tiny home community is a neat concept!

The house is lovely, beds very comfortable and grill did a great job. The place is peaceful and there are some hiking areas around. Two things I would suggest: clothes hangers and more kitchen towels. Great getaway idea.

We loved our stay at Lakeview Oasis. Everything about this place and this community is phenomenal. We arrived to a perfectly appointed tiny home. With this being our first tiny home experience, we are now hooked! The lake is beautiful and next time we’ll bring kayaks. As 40somethings, we really enjoyed the Nintendo but one controller was missing so 2 player games weren’t possible. The memory foam mattress was nice but the screened in porch was definitely our favorite place for relaxation. The smokeless solo stove at the fire pit was nice & good for persons who are smoke sensitive. We couldn’t love this place any more and will DEFINITELY be back! We are already planning it! PS. Bring your own K-pods. They aren’t provided.

Loved this little slice of paradise for two days and can’t wait to return! Despite some minor construction noise in the community it was very peaceful and never had a problem heading the chefs chirp or the trees rustle. Appreciated having the kitchen basics stocked too!

The screened front porch was my favorite place. The bedroom was very tight and not much room to navigate past the end of the bed. Once the area is built out it will be much better with less dust from the gravel roads and continued construction. I would recommend The Retreat to others

The Retreat was a great place for our family of four. The accommodations were comfy and our kids enjoyed the experience of a tiny house. Having a playground a short walk away was great. The best part is definitely the proximity to so many amazing state parks. With lots of hikes for all levels and a plethora of beautiful falls to see and play in, there’s no shortage of fun to have in the area.

Had a great time. This is a very clean and tidy little house. It was perfect for our needs. The house is well located in a small community and you cannot hear anyone. The area is very calm. It has everything you need. Will book again.

We wanted a quiet get away with our grandchildren. We saw this listing and thought it was close to home and looked comfortable. The cabin is in a development of many of the same cabins. It is still under construction but that did not bother us. It is a beautiful area and seeing the lake from the cabin was very pleasant. The cabin is comfortable, however, the pillows are not. There was plenty of room for everyone. It could have used a few extra towels as well. We grilled out while there and the grill is incredibly clean and ate our meals outside. We sat by the fire pit, which was just so relaxing. There is not a lot to do in Tracy City except hiking and relaxing, but if that is what you are looking for this is the cabin. Also, very close to Sewanee University.

We enjoyed our stay at the Retreat. It was our first experience in a tiny home. It was very well decorated and comfortable. Our family enjoyed the fire pit area and lights. As well as the fireplace inside.

Cozy tiny home close to all the hiking trails!

Our family enjoyed a non-traditional getaway in the tiny home. It was quiet, relaxing, and a great place for quality family time! The hiking at nearby parks was also fantastic.

We enjoyed our weekend in Lakeview Oasis. Very comfortable, nicely appointed, and peaceful. The view of the lake from the screen porch was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon reading. We loved the house and the community.

Super clean and a great location to literally relax all weekend. A perfect getaway with plenty of space for the two of us! It was a rainy weekend, but we got to enjoy the screened porch for much needed down time! Fire pit is great (can never go wrong with a Solo Stove). All plates, utensils and appliances were super clean. We loved it! Will be back for a week next year in one of the dog friendly homes 😊

This was just as described! The Nintendo upstairs was a hit for sure, as well as the screened in porch. Firewood was provided, although I’d recommend grabbing some on the way in if it’s rained recently. We did have our baby sleeping in a pack & play which was a bit of a challenge space wise, but it was doable! Overall I liked this better than the other tiny home we’ve stayed in in a nearby community. You really can’t be the screened in porch and Nintendo!

A perfect tiny home for a restful retreat. Everything I wanted for a little relaxation. Surprisingly spacious, and livable. The concept of a tiny home community is worthwhile! Loved seeing it at The Retreat!

Was such a cute place to stay, kids loved the loft, the main bed downstairs was very comfortable, and the seating outside around the fire pit was the best place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. The only thing I would note is make sure you get the email 24 hours prior and don't wait till getting to the original address provided to find it because we never received the email and the number we called wouldn't provide us with an address even with the confirmation number in hand and we had to wait for them to send the email our way. Normally wouldn't be an issue but with very noticeable upset littles in the back of the car, made it a little frustrating. We would absolutely stay again and will most likely plan this as a regular stop on our trips.

Beautiful home in a great community.

We made a mistake and posted a picture of this lovely tiny house on Facebook as soon as we arrived. We spent the next four hours answering questions from friends curious to know more. Lakeview Oasis rarely felt like a tiny home. The space is efficiently designed. Our kids loved the loft and Nintendo Classic. We enjoyed the spacious living room, the screened porch, deck, and fire pit area. The outdoor spaces made the whole home feel large. If lows of 55 degrees are the norm for Tracy City in late June, then we will be back again and again to escape the terrible heat of our home town. We were particularly thankful for the screened porch. There is a lot of construction still in the community and the roads are all gravel. That leads to a lot of dust that the screens helped reduce. We highly recommend you find a house with a screened porch (like Lakeview Oasis) if you want to stay in this area. Also, add a car wash to your vacation budget. We weren’t in town long enough to use the lake or hike the trails. But, this stay was such a pleasant experience that we will be back very soon!

Absolutely incredible stay! The place may be a “tiny home” but it honestly felt super spacious! The bathroom was super nice and all of the beds were extremely comfy with really good pillows! I would hands down come back here to stay again in the future.

This was the perfect get away my husband and I needed to recharge! Having 4 kiddos anything where it’s quiet is a refreshing time to reconnect with each other!! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for helping us reconnect and relax!!!

We went to a show at The Caverns and this was the perfect location and a really great place for us.

We stayed at lake view oasis and it was so pretty and relaxing. Even though it was too cold to do anything outside my three boys were content to hang out in the tiny home because it was so nice. The view of the lake was gorgeous. The fire pit, screened in porch, grill, and smart tv was a huge plus. I love how the house sat back from the road and even though houses were on each side it still felt secluded.

Great time in nice little cabin. I would suggest bringing your own pillows, as the pillows weren’t comfortable, and also bringing towels. There were only 3 towels for the 5 of us. Other than that, everything was perfect!

The tiny house was great except the heat. The control panel was locked and we could not adjust the temp and woke up to it being 57 degrees inside and 19 outside. We did not get to relax and enjoy the morning like we had hoped because it was so cold. We took showers to warm up and left to go find heat. We read in the guest book that the previous guests had the same issue. I contacted the management and after a couple of emails we did receive a partial refund.

This place was so cute! A little smaller than expected, but beautiful and peaceful.

House was gorgeous. Surrounding areas are under construction but it wasn’t noticeable. The lake is viewable from the porch. Monteagle had many restaurants but make sure to make a reservation for High Point if you want a little nicer restaurant. Great visit! Cant wait to come back when it’s kayak weather!

Beautifully decorated with a wonderful view. Cute new development that was fun to explore. Great hiking in South Cumberland State Park nearby and delicious dining options just down the road. All made for memorable anniversary weekend.

Great place. Very neat lake front neighborhood. We plan to come back in the summer to enjoy the water. Cabin was very clean. Although there were only two of us, there’s plenty of room for a family of up to 6. Thanks for the accommodations.

We enjoyed our time and appreciate how accommodating they were for us to stay there. It was perfect for 2 adults and our 3 kids. The boys loved the loft and she loved the bunk beds. It is a short distance to the lake and we were able to spend a little time out there before heading back. Would highly recommend!

Awesome location. High point restaurant in Monteagle is amazing amd Rosies for breakfast right outside the gate was also super good. Loved the cabin and the fire pit!!!’ Would definitely come back!!!!

This place is real cool the tiny house is a good fit even for big people and large family like ours. We were able to fit a large size yukon xl in the parking space, even a small vehicle can make it there. The drive way is not paved but not bad at all. The lake is awesome and the community fire places are cool. Only issues I see if the little town provides for little to do and hard to find stuff to eat in fact real difficult no good restaurants and supermarket is far away. But if you take enough snacks and food you don’t have to worry. Other details to be aware is that as of today 10/9/2021 the community this house sits in is still under construction so lots of contractors around. This may not be an issue and it was not to me.

We rented a tiny house on our way back home from a long vacation. This is an awesome resort that we will be back soon to visit.

The Lakeview Oasis tiny home was so cute and a perfect place for my husband and I to relax. It was very clean and well stocked and had a very comfortable bed. We did have a problem with knowing how to run the TV and also the electric fireplace but might be because we are seniors! Such a pretty spot to stay!

We had a rainy weekend end but it was lovely. Nice and cozy, beautiful lake view. House is precious, well decorated. Only complaint is internet is a little slow to stream but on a normal trip (with better weather) you wouldn’t need tv! Overall lovely time.

My wife and I rented the Lakeview Oasis to celebrate our anniversary. Very convenient and easy drive to restaurants and near by attractions. Home was decorated very well and was super clean. We enjoyed the fire pit and cafe lights in the evenings, it made for a very relaxing and romantic setting.

This home is new, clean, and very nicely done. My kids (6 and 3 yrs old) had a blast. The lake is right across the road from the house. The development isn't finished yet, but it's still nice to go for a walk and enjoy being outside. Tracy City is nice, too...small town feel. Foster Falls is very close and a good hike (recommend kids older than 3...). My only complaint is that we didn't stay longer.

We loved our stay at Lakeview Oasis! A perfect retreat for our family. The home is well made and nicely decorated making it a cozy and relaxing spot. S’mores by the fire pit and room for the boys to run outside made wonderful evenings and coffee on the screened in porch was my favorite.
