Our family of five had the PERFECT retreat to kick off the summer! The photos in the listing are out of date. The property is much prettier than the photos. The couch has been upgraded to leather. As another reviewer mentioned, the hot tub is 6 person and was hot and steamy right when arrived! The unit was spotless when we arrived and stocked with plenty of towels, dish soap, dish towel and dish cloth and an unopened dish sponge. Not enough shampoo and no conditioner. Definitely make sure you bring shower toiletries. This is our second time staying at retreat but our first time in this unit. I brought some dish drying mats after our last stay — recommend. You’ll also want to bring lighter fluid but the unit has all the grill tools and firewood you’ll need. Plenty of towels were ready for our family, but being your own beach towels for the hot tub. We will certainly be back!

Highly recommended if you want a great place to let your mind and body rest. The hot tub was used every day and the fire pit was perfectly set up. I spent several hours just setting in the screened-in porch looking at the woods and enjoying the breeze with no sounds from others (vehicles or voices).

Nice little getaway. Very relaxing. Enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the birds and saw deer and a rabbit. Rosie’s was a nice place to grab a bite to eat. Enjoyed fire-pit and hot tub after a day of hiking. Mini Manor had everything we needed to unwind.

Really cool place to stay. Kind of expensive for the area, but the community is very unique.

Our stay at the mini manor on the Mountain at The Retreat at Water was absolutely lovely-peaceful, spotless, and perfectly cozy. We hadn't even known the place existed until friends picked it as their small wedding venue, and we are glad they did! It's quit the hidden gem, and being only an hour away from home makes it even better. We would have extended our stay if time would have allowed. The retreat offered great value overall, and we truly appreciated the attention to detail and serene surroundings. However, the cleaning fee felt quit steep for a stay that was less than 24hrs, especially when guests are expected to leave the space just as they found it. It would be more reasonable if the fee were scaled based on the length of stay-higher for longer visits, but adjusted for quick overnights. That said, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly return.

Took the family for a long weekend and this was a great home base! So much to do in the area, then nice to come back to a hot tub and fire pit in the evening. Community had nice amenities and this location is a close (but not too close) to the playground that my boys loved playing on. Only recommendation for those staying is to bring extra towels if they plan on using the hot tub, the house comes with 4.

This property is by far everything you need for an enjoyable stay in the most beautiful country. Right across the road from the best hiking trails around. We enjoy this place so much that we have to keep going back again and again to the Mini Manor on the Mountain.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mini Manor! It was well furnished and the hot tub worked great! It had a comfortable amount of space for being a tiny home. We did have some trouble with breakers flipping and trying to keep it warm enough with the thermostat not keeping the temperature for along period of time. Overall, we enjoyed it and would recommend it!!

If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway this is your place! From the screened in porch with soft lighting, to the fire pit surrounded by nature, and let’s not forget about the hot tub..you can’t help but be relaxed! It also had a big table for sitting outdoors, a grill and a blackstone grill. The inside was so cute and cozy and the kitchen was more than equipped for cooking, even had spices which was a plus. Most importantly it was VERY CLEAN. We will definitely be going back!

Great place to visit! Was looking for a quiet place to relax and this definitely did not disappoint.

We had a great stay here at Mini Manor. Very clean, nice linens, good privacy in backyard. We enjoyed the hot tub each night, felt great after a day of hiking. We very much enjoyed the screened in porch for hanging out and playing cards. We would happily stay here again!

This place is so freaking cute! We used the fire pit, note to bring firewood as only a little is provided. Sadly we didn't use the hot tub but it looked amazing. There's great hiking around with Fiery Gizard Trail and Foster Falls. We ate at Mi Casa and High Point and we're not disappointed. Overall great long weekend!

Mini Manor is adorable! Can't get over how cute these tiny homes are. We used the fire pit, note to bring your own wood as there was only a little provided. Sadly we didn't use the hot tub. Did explore the area. Fiery Gizard trail and Foster Falls are great for hiking. Overall great long weekend!

My family and I stayed for a full week. It was outstanding! Even with some rain, it was awesome. Extremely accommodating and very comfortable for our family of 4. It even gave our kids room to switch up where to sleep. Hot tub was a bit difficult to keep heated, but we still enjoyed it after long days hiking. The home was spotless, and had all the essentials to make it a comfy stay. The fire pit, the hammock, all of it, was so wonderful. It was a very needed, peaceful stay. We cannot wait to come back. Thank you Retreat!!

The property was very nice. All of the things have been thought of in this tiny cabin. Nice current decor, all of the cooking essentials and more. The property was very clean. Hot tub and fire put were nice, land scaping is well maintained.

We had such a good trip to Mini Manor. We stayed two nights and loved the hot tub and fire pit. There are several great hikes close by and we took full advantage. The Dutch Maid Bakery was a fun stop for a treat! The only thing I would say they could improve on was having more towels. We will be back!

Place was exactly as described. Arrived on a cold evening to a heated, bubbling hot tub and a darling, warm little house. Found everything we needed inside the house. Fantastic deck space. Such a lovely community with pretty little lake and outdoor gathering places. Super easy access to South Cumberland State Park, The Caverns, and Sewanee. Neighborhood is very dark at night, which was great for stargazing - just be careful to pay very close attention to the driving directions if arriving at night. Can’t wait to go back again!

Highly recommend! Stayed at Mini Manor for two nights. The place was exceptionally clean! Truly one of the cleanest airbnbs I’ve ever visited. Looks just like pictures. Detailed instructions made check-in a breeze. Bed and couch were super comfy. Kitchen was well stocked. Shower was hot. We enjoyed the hot tub and screened porch. This is one of the more private tiny homes at The Retreat at Water’s Edge. It’s near the back of a cul-de-sac but just a short walk to the community dock. Highly recommend eating at Mountain Goat Market in Monteagle if you visit.

Wow - as a landlord/short-term rental host myself, I have pretty high standards for properties that I visit. First and foremost, I was quite impressed with the quality of construction of this tiny home along with the decor-- it seems as though they've thought of everything! Small touches like twinkle lights on the porch, outdoor fans for the dining area on the deck, side tables for the hot tub, and nearly every kitchen utensil a person would need did not go unnoticed. Don't hesitate to book this place if you're considering-- you won't regret it!

This was our 5th tiny house to stay in. It was in a private space and our kids loved playing in the wooded backyard! The huge hot tub(they upgraded in size from their listing) fit all 6 of is easily and was a great addition! The outdoor fireplace was great, compete with a wood splitter and lots of firewood making fire starting easy! The property managers brought us extra towels very quickly when we inquired, since we needed a few more for the hot tub! They had all of the amenities in the kitchen and the bathroom was very spacious. King bed was a memory foam and so comfortable! It was only a 4 minute drive to the Firey Gizzard trail head and lots of beautiful hikes!

We enjoyed our one night stay here and definitley wished we could have stayed longer. One night was not enough! The place was cute and very clean, stocked with everything we needed. Beds were comfy and shower was hot. Hot tub worked great too - definitley a highlight on a freezing cold evening. There was a problem with the heat not working properly, but maintenance showed up and fixed it quickly. Thank you! We left and drove over to one of my favorite hikes in the area, Grundy Falls day loop. Perfect for kids. Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this place and the tiny home community in which it is located. It was perfect! Beautifully decorated and the hot tub was awesome (as was the porch and the deck). Highly recommend!!! We can’t wait to stay again!

This was an amazing stay! The location was great and the amenities were top of the line. All around cozy feel. The only thing that I would add is a privacy blind for the bathroom window. Just for extra precautions. Aside from that ONE thing, it was a perfect stay. Definitely want to make this a yearly trip every fall!

Beautiful place! My husband and I stayed for a night away from the kids! The only complaint was the hot tub never got hot and that was one of the main selling points to reserve the place! We just built a fire and enjoyed the fire pit. We would definitely rent the space again, just hopefully with a working hot tub!

We had a great time at The Retreat of Waters Edge. Lots of hiking trails and good food nearby. We will definitely be back. We enjoyed sotting in the hottub relaxing every night hearing all the wildlife and looking at the stars.

This tiny home was perfect for our anniversary weekend. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. It would be great for a family because of the bunk beds and loft beds. The main bed was a king bed. We were shocked at how much space there was and how well every space was utilized. We can’t wait to book it again.

Great visit to this mini manor. Well stocked and very comfortable! Finding a sound machine in the master bedroom was an added bonus. Played corn hole with the provided set and very much enjoyed the screened porch in the evenings. Quiet area. Great places to walk in the community. This house was very private and clean! Plenty of towels. Great communication, door and gate codes provided very early on checking. And directions were clear. Would love to visit again sometime. Seems like it could comfortably accommodate many people although we were just 2. Thank you for a great weekend!

We had a great hike 3 min away before checking in. The tiny house was better than expected. Very clean and cozy. Kids loved it. Appreciated the fans, smart tv and grill tools. The bed was a little too firm for us and all of the outdoor furniture needed cleaning before using due to the wooded setting and pollen, but other than that it was perfect. We will definitely return. Great place to relax and spend time outdoors!

We loved everything about this place, the hot tub, grill and blackstone griddle were a nice feature for this stay. More than enough beds and my kids were very happy. We cooked all our meals there and there were pretty of utensils and basically everything we needed. I would recommend a brochure or map of where the trails are and places where you can access the lake. Other than that, we will be back!

Mini Manor is incredibly wonderful. Super serene, clean, modern and the ultimate peaceful place to relax. My son enjoyed it as well. Outside area is great - hot tub and fire pit along with a grill and plenty of outdoor seating. Will definitely be back for a longer stay!

the CUTEST home! We went as an anniversary trip and this place is so worth it. Slightly difficult to find in the dark but other then that, we have no complaints. The hot tub was amazing and the hosts were so quick to respond to our questions. Retreat is only 15 minutes from the most beautiful waterfall and hiking trail and 45 min from Chattanooga. We will definitely be coming back!

It was such a cute cozy place to spend with the family. Chattanooga is only 1 hour away ! It was a wonderful time experiencing tiny home living.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay in this tiny cabin, our best airbnb experience so far. It felt quiet and private even though there were cabins close by. The tiny cabin had all the amenities we wanted + some! Very cozy, comfortable and peaceful. Would book again!

Lovely lake resort. Close to Pigeon Forge, Great Smokey Mountains, Lynchburg and Nashville. Perfect central location with all the amenities.

The cabin was cute! We were surprised at how many it could sleep. The outside areas had plenty of privacy.

2nd time we have stayed with them in this area! We love it and can’t wait to share the little piece of heaven with more friends and family
