Stayed here for our Honeymoon and loved it! The house was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay! The hot tub was our favorite place but also enjoyed the private hiking trails and Deer Lick Falls… WOW! Totally recommend!

Great little getaway. Hot tub was perfect. Could use blinds on the bunk bed windows.

We had such an amazing stay here! We had 5 people and a dog in this rental and it was perfect. The layout of this cabin was great and it was very clean when we arrived. We loved the loft area, the hot tub just outside the doors and the fire pit as well. We also really liked how friendly everyone in Monteagle is and how beautiful the surroundings were. We are already planning another trip back in a few months!

This place may be small but it had everything you needed for a fun relaxing weekend with your family. We have 3 little boys and they loved the loft and the bunk beds on the first floor. My husband and I liked how we could still separate ourselves from the kids after they all went to bed either in our room, on the screened in porch in the front or at the fire pit. Our kids liked exploring the woods and playing outside the cabin. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We are already looking at our next trip to Monteagle. I think the concept of these tiny home communities is brilliant and so fun!

Top shelf! Very clean. First time in a tiny house with 4 people - plenty of room to maneuver and not step on each other. Wished we could have stayed longer (we were in the area visiting Sewanee baseball)

This was hands down the best getaway i’ve done so far! we will for sure be back!

Cool tiny house

We had a lovely stay the Mountaineer Retreat tiny home. On arrival we took a turn into one of the other sections of the property, but the host was easy to reach and helped us quickly locate the right site. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. It had nice amenities, and we frequented the hot tub quite a bit. We are a family of four with two teenagers and while snug at times, the home accommodated us well. There were lots of wonderful water-fall hikes within short distances all around. If we ever get back to the area, we'd be very happy to stay here again.

Was a great spot to stay, went to see a concert at the Caverns and was only 15 min from the venue. Place is nice and clean and very new. Loved the hot tub!

We stayed in the Mountaineer for a friend’s bachelor weekend. When I say the experience was so relaxing and positive, it is an understatement. The cabin slept 4 of us comfortably and had some great amenities! Very modern layout with nice views and a hot tub. I will definitely be booking again for a couples weekend! Also, the staff was very helpful with requests and responses were fairly quick!

My family and I stay at Deer Lick Retreat often and always love our stay. This tiny home was clean and looked just like the photos.

The Mountaineer is simply beautiful…the colors are vibrant, the master bed slept great, kitchen stocked with needed essentials. We enjoyed having both a screened porch and open deck to enjoy the beautiful Tennessee mountain weather. It being a new home, the TV’s didn’t want to cooperate but the super friendly staff went out of their way to correct. I’m so happy we chose to spend my husband’s 60th birthday here, we will be back!

This was a quick trip. We ( a family of 5 plus 1 dog) stopped here on our way to FL and it was everything we needed, plus a little fun for the kids. I saw it as sort of a "glamping" experence. My husband was so tired he really just rested. Although, he mentioned the beds were very comfy. We would definitely book again!

The home was absolutely beautiful—cozy, well-decorated, and felt just like home. It’s definitely a change from big houses, but honestly, that made it even better. The space was warm and inviting, just like the pictures, and the setting was perfect—peaceful, private, and tucked away among other small homes, but with plenty of space to feel secluded. The fire pit was a highlight—we had an amazing time roasting marshmallows and just enjoying the atmosphere. Plus, the nearby trails were incredible! My family and I explored one that led to a stunning waterfall, which made the stay even more special. Would absolutely recommend! The home was awesome, and I hope to be back in the future!

We really appreciated your coming out and fixing the hot water immediately after our call. It shows your dedication to getting things right on the first try. We are encouraging our friend on the Mountain to use your business for housing guest during the major events at the seminary at Sewanee. We will be using you again on our next trip back.

The Mountaineer home was a great gateway retreat that we enjoyed on New Year’s Eve! The unit was very clean and brand new and such a cozy place for us to unwind. We especially enjoyed the access to The Deer Lick Falls and trail. We would definitely recommend coming back and enjoying the outdoors at this location!
