Great place! It was clean, peaceful, warm, and very comfortable. We loved our stay!

Dog friendly and quiet neighborhood.

Place was nice and clean and had a great outdoor area. We did have trouble keeping our small dog in the fenced in yard as he was able to get under the deck and out the other side but we remedied that with a few logs from the fire pit. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a great location. There are lots of tiny homes in this community this tiny home had a very private lot. The fire-pit area is really nice. There were deer in the yard each morning and evening. Very serene.

This tiny home was a clean, comfortable stay where we were able to bring our dogs along with us. The house was more spacious than you'd expect, and had a large outdoor porch area for grilling out, a fenced yard for the dogs to explore, and a screened porch right off the main entrance furnished with a table and chairs to make it cozy. The home was clean and organized and the bathroom was spacious. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful to walk around and features a trail that follows the lake edge. Overall I'd recommend it to anyone and would absolutely stay here again!

Our tiny home had absolutely everything you could need for a three night stay. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing, the water is absolutely beautiful. We took a hike which was worth it and gorgeous. Enjoyed all the little unique shops they recommended. Highly recommend Papa Ron's Pizza and Italian Steakhouse, the pizza is amazing!

This was the first time that we have stayed at a tiny house. We had a great experience and would recommend this property.

Second time to the Retreat and will return. House is in great location within the Retreat. Fenced yard is great feature (and has been repaired from previous reviews).

First, the staff at Retreat couldn't have been more prepared. The Wildwood Den was stocked with anything you could possibly need & even things you never would have thought of. We loved the fenced area where we could let our dogs out to roam. The patio areas were beautiful. When we called for food recs the recommendations were spot on! We will definitely be returning, likely with friends & use the Retreat properties again!

Beautiful area. The home itself was very well kept, and had impressive amenities like a Breville espresso machine. Classy touch for sure. Will likely try to book here again next time I'm in the area.

I spent 3.5 weeks in a tiny house so I could watch my boy's opening baseball season. It was amazing and so very cute! Clean. Easy to get to campus. Very accomodating and flexible! Will definitely rent again for the remaining of this season and for 3 more baseball seasons!

This place was amazing. We have stayed in a few places many times but this place had EVERYTHING! What I mean by that is they had all the essentials but the added extras like bandaids, frosty mugs in the freezer, a heater in the screened in patio are just a few things that made this house a home! Very cozy and comfortable place. We will definitely stay at this location again..

We stayed here as a family of four for a weekend trip! The whole area was really cute and felt very safe. We enjoyed the outdoor fire space and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. The inside space we good for us, but I think it could be tight for 4 adults. We used the upstairs space for our boys, and they loved it! The living room space was comfortable and it was nice to have a washer and dryer. Also, the kitchen was well stocked with anything we could have needed, including a fancy coffee maker! We would love to stay here again!

A charming tiny house. The real draw is the outdoor space. A relaxing fire pit and a large fenced area for your dog to run. Note: there is no view of the lake from this property.

We loved our time here! We spent most of our time outside in the fenced in back yard, fire pit and park area. The kids even road their bikes around the property. We did not cook but the kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. The washer and dryer was nice and we used it multiple times. There is hiking and off roading nearby that the kids and dog enjoyed! Like many tiny homes, there are a lot of windows and a ton of natural light, so I’d suggest bringing something to cover them if you wanted to sleep in. We had so much fun and will be back!

This place was amazing, it was everything they said it would be and more. It is peaceful and quiet without any disturbances from your neighbors which is a good thing and also enjoyed the scenery. If you're looking for a place that is small quaint and quiet these retreat tiny homes are the perfect place to be!

We LOVED our stay at Wildwood den. So nice and cozy. Perfect spot to stay when going to the Caverns for a show. We usually stay at hotels but this will be our new spot! Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay.

This is the very first small home I've ever stayed in and that is exactly what it is small. For 4 people we were cramped. I will get a bigger place next time. But, we were mostly in the camp area and it made very special for our family reunion and the forest surrounding was just absolutely beautiful. The place was very clean and inviting. We did not use the kitchen at all. We visited Rosies and the food was great. Thank you for having my family and I over. We appreciate your home and the beautiful area.

Really nice cabin in a beautiful little community set in a gorgeous part of Tennessee.

This beautiful tiny house community was wonderful, and this unit is exceptional. We loved the fire pit and the outside space. The location is VERY close to wonderful hikes and right down the road from Rosie's (amazing biscuits and breakfast!). It was great to have a washer and dryer in the unit as we got a little dirty from the hikes (as we should!). We loved the fenced in yard and our old guy is too big to fit through the break from a tree (tree is no longer there). The living area with TV was very comfortable and the collection of books about local hikes was so helpful and a nice touch. Overall, I'd suggest perhaps stocking some staples (salt, pepper, oil) because we enjoyed cooking in one night.

The owners of Wildwood Den thought of every detail in creating the perfect retreat in the woods! We loved the coffee bar, the fire pit (complete with firewood and fire tools), board games, blankets for cool nights in the woods, lovely deck areas, screened-in porch for morning coffee, fenced yard, and comfy beds! We enjoyed ourselves immensely!

We enjoyed our stay. The tiny house is very cute and the property itself felt very private. Nice big fire pit. Slightly difficult finding the retreat in the house in the evening, not a lot of lights so difficult to navigate.

The house had everything you need and plenty of nice items around if you forgot anything(chargers, hair dryer, etc. The espresso machine was top notch coffee shop level, yum. The outside is just a nice a place to be as inside. Great fenced in yard, screened in porch with heater, and stone fire pit…….did not want to leave.

Decided on a last minute get away, literally. Staying at this tiny home was so lovely. Everything you need to cook a meal is there, a wonderful place to have a perfect fire. The screened on porch was especially lovely. The host thought of everything from spare chargers to games, to a fenced in yard for your pup. The check in was a breeze, the cabin was very clean, and the town eats are to die for. No complaints here, don’t hesitate to stay, you won’t regret it.

I had a great stay. The retreat is in a peaceful, quiet setting with a short walk to the lake. I highly recommend going to the dock for sunset! I enjoyed the backyard fire pit and playing cards on the screened-in porch. The fenced-in yard was perfect for my pup. Location is a short drive to several hiking trails.

We came here for my 36th birthday with my husband, 10 yr old daughter, and doodle. The location was perfect and having the fenced in front yard. We used the outer screened in patio to play games at night. It is a tiny home so furniture is small and tinier as expected, but overall it was a great trip. Loved the neighborhood and getting to see all the different styles of homes. Walkable neighborhood. We went hiking both days to look at waterfalls. Pretty centrally located to Jim Olivers (live music) and High Pointe (fine dining with a neat story). We normally stay in a treehouse for our wedding anniversary in Monteagle but so glad we found this place!

We enjoyed our time at this space. Very clean! Great place to relax after a long day of hiking. We really enjoyed the fire pit. The fenced in yard was nice for our dog too.

Really enjoyed our stay. This is my second time staying at the retreat. This time was just my boyfriend and I and our dogs. Loved having the fenced yard. We made use of the smoker. Bed was comfortable. Shower was hot. Would happily stay again. Really enjoyed a little sunroom. Perfect spot for two. Even though there is a bed in the loft, it would be tight for four.

If clean and tidy is important to you, this place wins! I’ve never stayed in a more organized and clean space! Exceptional! Everything I needed was easy to find and literally no fear of any eww factor

This is our second time staying at this Airbnb, and I was glad that we had chosen because of its convenience to the things we are doing up in the retreat center. Super grateful for the coffee machine and the pellet smoker made a really nice dinner for us.

When we arrived there was already something chocolate that had spilled in the freezer so we wanted to make sure y’all knew we didn’t leave anything in the freezer to spill. Other than that our power went OFF Saturday night suddenly but the nice property manager came within a few minutes!! We plan to come back in the spring!! Our stay at the Wildwood Den tiny home was the best vacation ever! We were excited to try tiny home living but were worried about feeling cramped. These homes are amazing and you do mot feel claustrophobic at all, me and my husband along with our two French bulldogs had plenty of room. Great place to stay for any size family! We are hooked and cannot wait to come back! ** Everything you need is in the cabins and they are immaculately clean.**

We loved our time at Wildwood Den! Though small, the space flows nicely for a comfortable stay. We loved spending mornings on the outdoor deck and especially appreciated the fenced in yard for our dog. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook. We were just a short walk to the lake access and could even see some views of it from the deck. The community has such a nice layout, you are secluded without being off the beaten path. We look forward to our next stay!

This retreat is great. It was exactly as described. Very clean, quite and remote. A short walk to the lake within the retreat which was peaceful. The retreat overall needs a larger sign on the main road because we passed it so when driving at night in the dark be careful. Overall, will visit again!

House was new and everything worked, one step of the instructions was left out of the door lock operation. We called but nobody called us back, we had to hunt and peck until we got in.

The house was in a great location within the property, it was very clean and extremely well stocked. My sister and I each had our own space and the outside living areas were awesome. We watched the sunset from the pavilion and spoke to some of the owners in the property. The staff at the rental department was amazing and responded so quickly to my emails and requests. Chris from te sales department was very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall an amazing experience.

Loved the gas stove and the washer/dryer! The stay was great, easy check in, and the home itself was very accommodating and stocked without having to reach out to a host.

We were impressed with the details. It’s very well appointed and nicely set up. You’ll find pretty much anything you could need in the kitchen, and then some. They even had a bin of dog toys and water bowl/mat. It was also very clean and didn’t have the usual wear and tear that you might expect with dog-friendly properties. One warning though: Unless you have a kayak, don’t plan on using the lake. The community dock is over very shallow/mucky water. We went hoping our kiddos could do some fishing, but even that was difficult. This is not a lake where you can just walk up to the bank as there are homes/private property everywhere with almost no access. Great place to stay as long as you don’t go thinking you’re having a “lake” weekend.

This was a very nice cabin to stay in. It was very clean. The parking was secure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wildwood Den. The pictures give an accurate view of what to expect. We enjoyed the screened-in deck area each morning and evening. Wildwood Den offers great WIFI and an excellent coffee machine for each day. The fenced-in yard was perfect for our small dog. Good places to eat are close by in Tracy City and Monteagle, so no worries about bringing food. Indeed, an excellent place to feel at home when away from home.

I came to the area got a motorcycle race event at the TTC. It was a pretty late decision to get a cabin. When I arrived at my cabin Friday I was very pleased with the appearance and how clean the cabin was. The parking was excellent bring tight behind the cabin. It felt very secure. I look forward to coming back when I have more time to spend exploring the local area.
