Great location, clean and cozy

We had several family members come to celebrate my daughter's graduation from Sewanee for the weekend. Settle Down was a perfect landing spot for a full weekend! We took full advantage of the kitchen and amazing screened porch. We are already talking about another trip to stay at Settle Down so we can get out in the kayaks and do some hiking in the area.

We loved this house! Everything was spotless, very well equipped with everything we needed, beautifully decorated and with an unobstructed view right on the lake! We wish we could have stayed longer.

This tiny home is ideal. It is right on the water with an incredible fire pit. Settle Down keeps the tiny home vibe but is big enough to be comfortable. We have stayed here 3 times so far and I am sure we will return.

I orginally booked a vacation here with the intent of seeing if I wanted to get involved in the tiny home life and "Settle Down" convinced me the second I walked in the door. We comfortably slept 6 full grown adult men and wrote and recorded 2 songs on our 3 day vacation. Also being as close as we were to the walking trails was a delightful addition. We cooked 3 meals a day and had italian out the last night which was far supierior than expected. It was all just perfect, rainy days were relaxing and sunny days were bliss. Highly recommend staying at this particular home for groups of 4 to 6.

Excellent stay, location is stunningly beautiful, especially sunrise over the lake. Quiet community. Comfortable beds, very clean, lots of amenities, would come back and stay again!

My husband and I travelled to the area to see the Steeldrivers concert at the Caverns. We found this little hidden gem! I can't say enough great things about this house! It was nicely decorated! The beds were super comfortable! The community was quiet so it was very relaxing! It was also located close to our concert! Super easy to check in as well! I would highly recommend this adorable place if you want a relaxing getaway! I am definitely adding it to my list for a return visit!

We absolutely loved this place, it was perfect for our weekend getaway! I will ALWAYS look for this exact place the next time we are traveling to Tracy City. Communication and cleanliness are the two things that I always judge and everything was spectacular. We love this tiny-spacious house. Plenty of room, with 2 full bedrooms, bunks, and 2 full baths. Just the two of us this time. It has a comfy bed, lovely decor and the best view and location on the lake. Had all the supplies you need to cook if you wanted to, we did one night. Fire pit area is gorgeous, next time we’ll need to allow time to enjoy it.

This beautiful not so tiny home is situated on a lake. The views are amazing. The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It is stocked with everything you need.

This home is beautifully decorated, supplied with everything you need. Nothing tiny about this home, sleeps 6. Nestled lakeside with amazing views.

We had a lovely weekend relaxing and enjoying time away from husbands and children. The view of the lake was beautiful and we enjoyed hiking to local waterfalls and visiting antique stores. The home was clean, well appointed and perfect for us to sit and catch up over coffee and board games. I would highly recommend a stay to relax and recharge.

Our stay at Settle Down was amazing! It was our 2nd stay at the retreat but our first time waterfront. It was amazing!!! We’ll definitely back! The screened porch overlooking the lake was heavenly!

This home was extraordinarily well kept with added touches that made our stay that much better. The space was comfortable, modern, and very clean. The host provided several amenities that you don't typically see - limited pantry items, toiletries, outdoor amenities, and cleaning products. We really felt at home. We stayed here to go to a show at The Caverns, about 20 minutes away. After driving around the area for a couple of days, it was a convenient location to several local outdoor attractions. The Retreat neighborhood was also very well kept and quiet with several community amenities. I only have positive things to say about the home and host and wouldn't think twice about coming back! It was a wonderful time!

This spot is wonderful for a quick getaway. Plenty of space for 4 people. We were so pleased with the lakefront view, screened porch & extra amenities that made the home feel especially comfortable. The beds & lounge furniture are all extra cozy / functional. We were able to cook a full meal in the beautiful kitchen with ease. Great place, we would love to come back anytime.

The retreat is a great place to relax and have some great quality family bonding time!

The property was very nice and very roomy! Everything was great except for the coupon code not working. We had to get the discount back after check-in.

I have stayed at a couple of the properties at The Retreat at Water’s Edge in the past and had great experiences. This stay at Settle Down did not disappoint either. It was very peaceful inside and out. I highly recommend.

This house had everything we needed. I wish we could have stayed longer! I look forward to coming back and booking a couple houses for a larger family stay!
